Description
[+]
French born Bardot's international fame as a sex symbol arose from her role in the 1956 French film 'And God Created Woman'. The film was directed by her then husband Roger Vadim and caused outrage in conservative circles as it portrayed her as sexually uninhibited. Bardot retired from acting in 1973 so she could concentrate on championing animal welfare.
