As an early egineer working for John Logie Baird, Ben Clapp helped develop and test many of the pioneering inventions of Baird. In this photograph Ben Clapp is demonstrating the priciples of early television. During a reconstruction of Baird's work for the BBC Television programme "The Birth of Television" Ben Clapp can be seen talking about the equipment he helped build.
